Downtown Dallas, Inc.’s Storefront Restoration Program

Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) has announced a Storefront Restoration Program aimed to help businesses in Downtown who were impacted by damage sustained during the same time as downtown demonstrations against police brutality.

The program is intended to help street level businesses with losses not covered by insurance or other means. Grants will be capped at $5,000.

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Businesses must be located within the Downtown Improvement District boundaries (i.e., inside the freeway loop)
• Businesses must have sustained damages in May or June 2020; repair of prior property damage or general improvements are not eligible
• Businesses must provide evidence (i.e., copies of insurance policies or claim denial letters) of uninsurable losses
