Neighborhood Empowerment Zone #10 Meeting

On February 13th and 27th, District 5 Council Member Jaime Resendez and the Small Business Center, on behalf of the City of Dallas, convened with property owners and small businesses along Buckner Boulevard and Buckner Road in the Pleasant Grove area.

The purpose of these meetings was to elucidate the objectives of the Neighborhood Empowerment Zone #10 Program (NEZ 10), with a particular emphasis on a proposed extension tailored to the smaller businesses in the vicinity. Paleteria Mexty graciously hosted these gatherings at 8145 Bruton Rd. Dallas TX 75217, and were made possible through the collaboration of Cheesesteak House, located at 1600 S Buckner Rd., and Caritas Felices Party Supplies, situated at 8139 Bruton Rd., who generously provided catering and table and seating arrangements. Additional thanks to Informate DFW magazine who promoted these meetings. Attendees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with NEZ 10, pose questions, and embrace our goal of making resources available to businesses, empowering them to contribute to the revitalization and enhancement of this vital sector of the City of Dallas.

The Small Business Center extends its gratitude to Council Member Jaime Resendez, the supporting businesses, and all attendees for their contributions to the success of these meetings.
