Dallas Fed Publishes Small Business Poll

Businesses across Texas reported improvements in revenues, employment, investment in equipment and overall opportunities compared to the previous year. This is according to a report by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

Business owners also noted that their most pressing talent needs where in the areas of interpersonal skills and sales and marketing.

The poll provides some interesting statistics on age and size of business and minority/women ownership. Over 1,400 firms participated.

The Dallas Fed started the survey in 2013 to monitor small business activity in Texas.
