For the next few weeks, we’ll pit Dallas entrepreneurial heavyweights against each other: 64 iconic brands and entrepreneurial upstarts will enter; only 1 will win. Will it be your employer; your favorite luncheonette; your secret indulgence? That decision is yours.

Criteria for Candidacy
Companies will be selected randomly from your nominations of entrepreneurial candidates. Companies must be based in Dallas, show evidence of growth and/or innovation, and have been in business for at least one year.
And yes, not every company will be represented, even some big ones may be missed, maybe some of your favorites if you do not nominate them! We credit that to the capricious whim of the draw and the very lucky fact that here we have a community that teems with entrepreneurial talent. So make sure you nominate the companies you want to see competing for Dallas’ Favorite Brand.
Let’s get to it: Nominating / Voting Dates & Times
You’ll have the opportunity to nominate your favorite companies starting today. You can nominate as many companies as you would like. Check back with us on February 27th when we will announce the final bracket. Voting polls for the first round open at 12 p.m. (noon) and close at 4 p.m. on the dates indicated. Cast only one vote per round, please.
Round 1
Polls open: Monday, March 4 and 12 noon
Polls close: Friday, March 8 at 4 p.m.
Round 2
Polls open: Monday, March 11 at 12 noon
Polls close: Friday, March 15 at 4 p.m.
Round 3
Polls open: Monday, March 18 at 12 noon
Polls close: Friday, March 22 at 4 p.m.
Round 4
Polls open: Monday, March 25 at 12 noon
Polls close: Friday, March 29 at 4 p.m.
