The TPDES General Construction Permit applies to construction sites that disturb more than an acre. The permit expired on March 5, 2023. TCEQ approved a new permit that went into effect on March 6, 2023.
All existing construction sites permitted under the existing TPDES Construction permit must renew their permit coverage within 90 days of the permit effective date (June 3, 2023).
