About

GeniusDen is an incubator in the Deep Ellum neighborhood on the east side of downtown Dallas.

Our three-part mission: 

1. To bring the future into the present.
2. To be a force multiplier.
3. To interrupt cycles of poverty – socially and personally.

We are a community where founders grow as people, as well as the companies they build.

We provide learning opportunities so our members can meet with advisors, mentors and investors with core startup knowledge. As a matter of course, we introduce GeniusDen Members to customers, vendors and capital.

If you’re a startup with your core team in place, a minimally viable product, and paying customers and you want help scaling your company, then let’s talk. We provide the space and community your startup needs.

We are an incubator, not just coworking. There is a gap in the current offerings for startup office space.  There are coffee shops or coworking for getting launched and for freelancers. There are several coworking spaces in the central core of Dallas including downtown and Deep Ellum, but there are no incubators focusing resources and deliberately creating a long term space specifically serving founder teams.

Events

GeniusDen offers a regular weekly schedule of reoccurring and unique programs. Examples include:

Open Desk Thursdays (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM): Come out for free open desk work. This is open to everyone in the Dallas startup community. Work, bring your best problem to share and solve and give your ideas momentum.

Business Issues Solving Session: An active session for business owners to bring and openly address their issues through facilitated peer collaboration. The program uses the EOS tools and protocols as detailed in the book TRACTION by Gino Wickman.

Startup Therapy – Open Workshop for Founders and Developers: Discuss ideas, strategies, and problems. Are you building a new company? Struggling with product development? Need ideas to grow? Looking for a CTO? Awesome! Come meet us and the community at our downtown location sponsored by Genius Den.

HR at 100 miles an hour with Hunter Lott: Advice on business decision making, Making proper HR decisions to manage your liability, Being aware of various issues associated with employment practices, How to be the boss your employees will appreciate.

ART SHOW: Each month, an art show launch party is hosted to present works by local artists. Previous showings have included paintings, photography, engineered LED clocks, prints.
